A Mind Is a Terrible Thing To Waste COM236

Growing up as a child I was a reader. I loved to read. From the back of the cereal boxes, magazines, and even our countless VHS tapes; I had it in my hand, eyes glued. Before, I use to think it was unscutable for me to read so much, but as I got older, I realized and learned that it was a great trait to have [which made me feel better]. . .
As I was in high school, I was 2 years away from my graduation and I had NO clue as to what I wanted to do with my life afterward! Kinda backwards huh. . .But thats neither here nor there. . . So anyway to make a long story short Im a lover of books and exercising the mind to think beyond average and because of that, during that time until graduation, I read 5 books that not only helped me define life from different aspects, but to also help me find my noble purpose. So to be nice, I wanted to share my Top 5 Must Reads that helped me and that could help you too =)

and just because all the authors are african american doesnt mean im racist either! lol.

Boredom: The Desire For Desires :)

Random Thought, But Seriously.

So this whole summer I've been working like a slave and on the go. The result of that?. . . Getting BIG as hell. But praise God McDonald's has not been a contributor {I havent ate that crap in about a year}. . YUK!

But seriously though, its so hard to eat right, be a college student, and broke as hell too! Uh uh. . Aint Happen'n!

I think the government should lower the cost of the "good" foods and raise the prices on the "bad". Thats why half of America is obese now [including myself] because every where you turn, some place has a $1 Menu for one item thats about 800 calories. . . Im sure our 1st Lady would approve of this idea since she IS a strong advocate in promoting healthy lifestyles.

But seriously though, somethings has GOT to give!
